Raquél Pérez, BSN, RN, is a NICU Nurse, public speaker, and servant leader. After graduating from the University of Rhode Island in 2017, Raquél took the NCLEX exam four times before passing and finally becoming a Registered Nurse; a challenge that she often speaks on and coaches nursing students through. As a multiple attempt tester, night shifter, and COVID-19 nurse, Raquél recognizes the importance of self care before and after entering the profession. Outside of her career, Raquél remains an active advocate for national service programs such as AmeriCorps, and enjoys public speaking and leadership opportunities. She was honored to have been named a Forbes Fellow in 2018 and TEDx Speaker in 2019.
